The United States Dressage Federation (USDF) is currently hiring for the positions of Administrative Coordinator, Member Services Coordinator, and Senior Education Coordinator.

Full-time Positions

Administrative Coordinator

This position is responsible for coordinating administrative aspects of programs and initiatives within the Education department including planning events, database and document management, tracking statistics, creating multi-media projects, and supporting with program volunteers. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and tracking program documents, including contracts and insurance needs
  • Coordinating travel, housing and hospitality needs for programs
  • Coordinating registration needs
  • Compiling data for funding requests
  • Maintaining calendar of events
  • Monitoring website content
  • Tracking program statistics
  • Creating and compiling effective program and post-event surveys
  • Coordinating marketing needs for department, including ads and social media

Requirements:

  • College degree
  • Three to five years office experience, or equivalent experience
  • Project management experience with the ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines and manage to assigned budget
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • An equine background is preferred, with preference given to candidates with dressage knowledge and experience.

Member Services Coordinator

The Member Services Coordinator will assist with the overall duties in the Member Services Department and will be primarily responsible for the organization and project oversight of the Adequan®/USDF Annual Convention, along with other various in-person and virtual events.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assist Member Services Department staff by answering phone calls, emails, and other relevant inquiries, as well as processing memberships and horse registrations.
  • Support the department director and appropriate staff in coordinating event logistics for select USDF events by:
    • Identifying requirements and expectations
    • Implementing event concepts and themes
    • Preparing event budgets and agendas
    • Researching and booking venues
    • Coordinating all logistical elements of the event
    • Managing set-up, tear-down, and clean-up operations
    • Developing post-event reports on the effectiveness of each event

Requirements:

  • College degree
  • Experience in event planning preferred

Senior Education Coordinator

This position is responsible for creating, repurposing, and coordinating education content and curriculum for programs and initiatives within the Education Department, to develop new visual and multi-media tools, and to coordinate and implement designated programs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop online courses
  • Develop and host virtual and live education events
  • Develop curriculum and content for USDF programs, with support of program volunteers
  • Develop exams and quizzes, tracking results
  • Work with outside vendors/partners to enhance educational offerings
  • Maintain Education Library
  • Maintain Education Database
  • Liaise with education-based committees and programs.

Requirements:

  • A knowledge and background in dressage and as an educator
  • College degree, in relevant area
  • Three to five years equivalent experience
  • Working knowledge of education platforms for content and curriculum development
  • Working knowledge of test and quiz platforms
  • Ability to write test and quiz questions in an appropriate manner
  • Project management experience with the ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
